A little about us…

Opened in 2017, the original concept of Bodega Wine Dive was provide Lake Charles with a casual and intimate space for both new and experienced wine lovers. The “Wine Dive” name was meant to reflect that atmosphere and style, and “take a dive…” was our slogan, inviting everyone to jump head first into the world of wine.

We’ve recently retired the “Wine Dive” name in favor of “Restaurant & Wine Bar” following a massive kitchen renovation and expansion. While our wine program remains at the heart of Bodega, we’re now able to offer a true dining experience for our guests featuring authentic New York-Italian recipes and dishes.

A true New York-Italian, JoAnne’s energy and passion touches every corner of our building. Her decades-old family recipes bring our menu to life with rich Italian flavors. Joanne also oversees our private events program ensuring all of our clients leave with a truly unforgettable experience.

Born and raised Lake Charles native, Ryan found his passion for wine at a young age while working at Bodega. Ryan, who’s been on our team for 6 years, has transformed our now-award-winning wine list into something that inspires our guests to venture out their comfort zone with small production, family owned wines.
